David co-founded the Center for Funeral Media Studies, Inc. in 1999, bringing to the company a track record of designing and implementing high impact marketing, sales, and customer service programs which successfully bring products to market. He has provided the marketing vision behind the Center for Funeral Media Studies' revolutionary media response and media relations training programs. David is responsible for the overall business strategy of CFMS and spends his time engaged in marketing development and forging industry partnerships. David works closely with Dick Brundage to shape CFMS's national and state training programs and business alliances. Over a span of twenty years, David has built a reputation as a creator of effective business programs which build brand equity and market both consumer and business-to-business products. He has deep experience gained from a variety of senior marketing and sales management positions in information technology and training companies. David is also responsible for managing and supporting funeral service associations and alliance partners as they develop comprehensive media response and media relations programs, including building state-wide media spokesperson teams. Before co-founding CFMS, David led the marketing efforts of Life Appreciation Training, Inc., a 25 year old training company that teaches funeral service professionals how to effectively impact and help families by assisting in the creation of more personalized funerals. David's funeral industry experience and proven marketing skills have helped CFMS craft the funeral industry's premier media response and media relations training company, constantly breaking new ground with marketing innovation.
